REINDEER FARM VISIT
(JAN-MAR)

The Reindeer Herder's Home Farm Visit with Home-Cooked Lunch - Private Tour
Experience an exclusive visit to a traditional reindeer herder's home farm in Ivalo. This relaxed experience offers a rare opportunity to connect with the local people and discover the authentic way of life behind reindeer herding
culture. Feed the reindeer by hand and learn the traditional art of throwing the suopunki—the iconic lasso of Lapland. The herder family will welcome you for a warming, homemade lunch featuring traditional reindeer stew soup, local bread, and Finnish "kotikalja" (a non-alcoholic kvass- style drink). Finish your meal with dessert coffee and a homemade "kampanisu" pastry.
